Information from Crime Intervention Alarm on COVID-19

Protecting the Communities We Serve During These Trying Times

We sympathize with all who have been affected by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. It is important for all of us to come together to fight this outbreak and support one another. We are thankful for everyone who has and continues to do their part in fighting this virus. From those on the front lines battling it head-on in the healthcare system to those of you who are staying home and staying safe, we thank you. We know these are difficult times, and we want to inform the communities we serve that we are also doing our part. We will all get through this together.

Crime Intervention Alarm is deemed as an essential business due to the services we provide. The people we serve and the emergency services of our community rely on us to keep them connected with each other, safe, and protected. Families, other essential businesses, and life-sustaining organizations depend on us to continue our operation. This is a responsibility we take very seriously, and we are taking extra precautions to keep everyone safe. Everyone here at Crime Intervention Alarm is implementing extra measures to not only safeguard our team and customers, but also to prevent the spread of the virus.

We Continue to Serve You

Our customers expect us to be there when they need us most. Whether it be during a natural disaster, pandemic, or other major event, we are here to serve you. We know the businesses, families, and communities we serve all depend on us to ensure their safety. At this time, you can rest assured that Crime Intervention Alarm will remain operational, implementing extra safety measures than usual.

Our Extra Safety Measures

Our technicians may have to come in direct contact with our customers and enter their home or business to repair, maintain, or install systems. This is the nature of our business, and we are doing everything we can to further protect you. We are doing the following in response to the COVID-19 pandemic:

  • Those of our employees who can work from home, have been ordered to do so. These employees have access to the tools and information they need to continue to serve you.
  • To avoid having our technicians drive out to unnecessary calls and potentially expose themselves or our customers to the virus, our call center agents are having more in-depth conversations with our customers. Being able to fix an issue over the phone ensures that no one is exposed to COVID-19.
  • Our technicians and staff in the field are taking extra precautions when they are out on in-home or in-facility appointments. They are practicing social distancing, utilizing personal hygiene safeguards, and making sure that everyone present at the time of arrival is healthy. They are also conducting daily wellness checks to avoid reporting to work sick. If any of our team members experience any symptoms of the Coronavirus, they are instructed to stay home and contact their healthcare provider.

We’re All in this Together

At this time, no one knows how long this pandemic will persist; however, we will be there to serve you through it all. By all of us, our families, our communities, and our team coming together to fight this, we will get through it. We must all take necessary safety precautions to maintain our health and the health of our loved ones. Crime Intervention Alarm knows what it takes to carry on during the worst of times. We will be here for you when you need us.

Continue to persevere,
